While I Was Gone...

"She lost herself in the trees, among the ever-changing leaves.
She wept beneath the wild sky as stars told stories of ancient times.
The flowers grew towards her light, the river called her name at night.
She could not live an ordinary life with the mysteries of the universe hidden in her eyes."

-- Christy Ann Martine

Summer's fires had begun to fade, but memories of sun and water and wild air last forever.

Just a small sample of summer fun and sun that was had this year. Being outside daily definitely helped keep the pandemic blues away. Fresh air is the best tonic for your health.

Now bring on sweater weather, pumpkin spice, and the glorious riot of Autumn!

Thank you, it was quite a good summer indeed. It's funny because I always wish I was having coffee with your pool view lol. Or those incredible mountains! 😀
